Konqueror 4 missing the ability to quickly search files

Hello,

Relative newb here.
Back in Suse 10.3 I used to have the brilliant capability to navigate to a file directory and start to type in a search box in the upper right of konqueror...the files would automagically shrink according to what I was typing.

Recently formated and installed Suse11 w/ KDE4... I cannot seem to perform the same functionality..... either in Dolphin nor Konqueror.
am I missing something?

Dolphin I can go Tools > Find File ... however it is significantly slower!!!
