I suggest you download qt from trolltech.com. I compile qt-copy failed too.

got qt-copy to build but nothing else does

I got qt-copy to build, but everything else fails with stuff like this:
cat kde4src/log/2007-09-30-45/kdesupport/error.log
This Makefile is only for the CVS repository
This will be deleted before making the distribution

RE: got qt-copy to build but nothing else does

ok I keep getting these errors, even on a fresh checkout, do you think its my setup, or the svn is just plain broke.

RE: got qt-copy to build but nothing else does

I got the same message. I went back and made sure I followed all the steps again about setting up the environment. I'd missed these two steps:

Adding this code to my .bashrc file

http://web.davidfaure.fr/scripts/cd_function

Also putting this script in my search path.

http://web.davidfaure.fr/scripts/findup

After that things went much better. Hopefully that helps.

That one I can't help with I'm afraid. I'm not getting an annoying SVN error which I've posted about elsewhere.
