float illustration of menu disappeared

Something wrong must happened after I upgraded my kde 3.5.5 of openSUSE10.2 to
kde3.5.7. Now usually I find that when I point my mouse to the K-menu or others
the float illustration of the K-menu or other item just disappeared. I can no
longer see the abstracts of the K-menu or other items for convenience. Can anyone
help me to solve the problem? Thx all the way!

Can you provide a screenshot of how it looks exactly?
