Kontact for Windows in KDE 4.0?

I read a post that said when 4.0 comes out, you will be able to run Kontact on Windows. This would be great, because getting my users off of Office and onto an alternative while still using Windows until they are comfortable, would go a long ways in getting us to Linux platforms.

When is the estimated release time frame?

Thanks,

Shane

the release plan is in the making.
The estimated release time is around the end of this year.
First beta versions will probably arrive this summer.

Is the assumption about Windows true

Will it allow Kontact to run on Windows?

TIA

The summer of 2007 is here and I also can't wait for the windows version of Kontact, even if it's still beta. Are there any beta releases for windows available yet?
