Overwrite New Song Loud!!!

when I paste a new song into the folder where I keep my music, and it asks if I want to overwrite the file, it will start playback to compare the files. Is there a way to disable this, or at least turn the volume of this down?

The only thing I can think of is to disable sound previews in Konqueror (View->Previews)

are you looking in the menu of the file manager mode?
The browser mode does not have that menu item.

So web mode has it and will change it globally? I'm confused as to which profile I need to be on to switch it.

The content of the menu's of konqueror depend on wich purpose you are using the application for.
For example, if you are using konqueror as browser (internet, webmode, etc..), you won't find menu items that configure the behavior of konqueror as file manager and vice versa.

To get the menu item [view -> preview], you need to use Konqueror als filemanager.

I am using it as filemanagement mode and still don't see the menu.
