how to change the displayformet

hi, in KDE I have two choices off display
: 320 x ... and 640 x... , how can I get 1024x728?

kde shows you the screenoptions that are defined in /etc/xorg.conf
I you want different options, you need to start a configuration programm that can change the specs for your screen.
openSUSE for example uses SaX2 for this.
The configuration application should be started as root.
