Hello friends,
I have a problem and I need your help.
I own a Toshiba Notebook Satellite M45-S265 and I am running CentOS 4.4(final) on it. The problem is that in Setting System --> Display I have option to configure the Resolution up to 1920 x 1440 and a Color Depth = Millions of Colors, but when I log into KDE Desktop and try to adjust the settings of it, it only gives me options of Screen size = 1024 x 768. My laptop is Widescreen and I need to have a better resolution. Can you help me on how to adjust it ?
This are the specifications for the display of my laptop(according to the manufacturer):
Display:
- 15.4" diagonal widescree TruBrite TFT active-matrix LCD display at 1280 x 800 native resolution(WXGA).
- Contrast 400:1
- Brightness Control - FN + F6/F7
Graphics:
- Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900, 10-128MB Internal (UMA) shared video memory.
Thank you very much.
