no more audio icon

all of a sudden I don't have the audio icon bottom right as usual, I installed real player and flash player maybe they interfere?
How could I get it back?
How could I set the volume?

Try running the program called "KMix". It should be in your K Menu -> Multimedia. If not, press Alt+F2 and type in "kmix".
