[kdesktop & openbox] Mouse clicks

I'm using kde and the openbox window manager. For a more userfriendly desktop handling I'm using additionally kdesktop. I would like to use the openbox root menu that appears after a right click. Unfortunately kdesktop prevents openbox to capture the mouse clicks. I've already tried to disable the kde menu in kcontrol and also in kdesktoprc with KDE Action Restrictions.

Is there any trick to solve this problem except not using kdesktop?

Thank you for your help!

RE: [kdesktop & openbox] Mouse clicks

I don't think so, because KDesktop will 'eat' the mouse events when you click on it. It will not pass it over to other applications which might be interested.

Thank you for your answer. This is what I've suspected. What a pity.

If somebody knows a walk around he's invited to post it! :)
