Im trying to change the look of my grub screen but have had no luck with doing it. Now i want to undo what i have done how can i do this?

I followed most of the instructions on this page: usplash customization

I did up to #3 and the konsole said gcc wasnt a command or somethin so I stopped and now my grub screen is messed up.

No worries I got it fixed and I figured out an easy way to jazz up the grub screen too boot if anyone is interested just say the word and ill post what i did.
