KDE not working (xorg69to7)

Can someone please help me with this problem? I updated my distro (debian testing) and xorg upgraded to 7.0. I've been following this manual, but KDE still doesn't work! (http://wiki.debian.org/Xorg69To7) Xorg starts but kde freezes at "starting up interprocess comunication" and writes this:

startkde: Starting up...
kdeinit: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libSM.so.6: undefined symbol: IceGetPeerN
ame
startkde: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.

waiting for X server to shut down Hangup
GOT SIGHUP
FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/X11/misc" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing
.
Warning: connect() failed: : No such file or directory

xinit: unexpected signal 2.

ERROR: Couldn't attach to DCOP server!
startkde: Shutting down...
Warning: connect() failed: : No such file or directory
Error: Can't contact kdeinit!
startkde: Running shutdown scripts...
startkde: Done.

please help to solve this!
Thanx in advance!
One SWIRL to rule them all...

RE: KDE not working (xorg69to7)

Hi,
I'm in trouble with exactly the same phenomenon. I tried to
downgrade libXft2 to version 2.1.7 which obviously worked
for other people but had no success. I got stuck now, any
help is welcome
