[kopete] Bugs & feature requests

I really can't be bothered to battle with bugzilla, so here they are, a mixture of bugs and feature requests:

Menu editor
Extend the menu editor to include the right-click, left-click and double-left-click actions on the Kopete tray icon. (I would like to change the left-click action to a status menu where custom statuses can be set with one-click, eg. "Busy: working").

Pounce
Add a right-click action for a contact called "Pounce", which can be used on any contact that's offline or busy. Upon clicking, a dialog box appears asking for the message that should be sent. When the target user comes online (and the "pouncing" user is also online), the message is sent (but no chat window is opened).

Automatic status
These should be able to be enabled/disabled in the "Behaviour":

* Clicking ignore on a new chat request should set status to busy
* Ignoring a new chat request for a certain amount of time should set status to busy
* Accepting a new chat request, initiating a new conversation or typing a message should set status to "online"
* If any messages go unanswered for a certain time, set status to busy (eg. if the user is chatting furiously in one window and ignoring the other), and set it back to online when they have been replied to

Multiple desktop behaviour
In my opinion, clicking the Kopete tray icon to display the contact window should open/move it to the current desktop, not shift the user to the desktop that the window is open on. Allow optionally to open chat windows on all desktops by default.

Message notification
If the conversation window has focus, the conversation window taskbar title should not flash. It should also not flash as a result of one of your own messages being successfully transmitted. Flashing should slow down or cease after a while.

Although I'm a student with a fairly limited budget, I would be prepared to sponsor some of these modifications, especially if a bounty system was created where others could contribute to the bounty.

Then you have to cope with the fact that most of your comments will be lost in cyberspace. This forum is just not the right place to make comments on an application. You have either bugzilla or the Kopete mailinglist to get in touch with those who might help you.

Thanks Bram, I've just posted it to the kde-devel mailing list, hopefully somebody will read it there.

kde-devel is not the right place either. emailing kopete-devel might get you a few responses but unless you use bugzilla, your requests will still get lost.
