[kopete] connecting to Yahoo! does not work anymore

It's some days now, that I can't connect to Yahoo! with kopete anymore. It's the same account and the same client, so I guess that Yahoo! changed something. Anyone knows about this? Is there a way to get around and make kopete connect again? Kopete version is 0.12beta1.

Thank you in advance.

At this very moment, I was able to connect to Yahoo!, using the latest SVN checkout. But it already worked yesterday, with the version it did not work with before. I can't figure out what the problem might be. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not work.

RE: you had better luck

I have solved this problem that came with the latest SUSE package of Kopete by (using KDE 3.5.1 level "a" on SUSE 10.0):

(1) reinstalling kopete 0.11.1
(2) copying files "kopete_yahoo.sa" and "kopete_yahoo.so" from "/opt/kde3/lib/kde3" to anywhere safe
(3) reinstalling kopete 0.11.92 (0.12 beta 1)
(4) copying files "kopete_yahoo.sa" and "kopete_yahoo.so" to "/opt/kde3/lib/kde3" to anywhere
(5) starting kopete

I think I now have kopete 0.12 using the working Yahoo protocol from the previous version ;-)
