Hello everybody.

I don't know if someone else had this idea.
What about adding a text edit in every kdeapp (like beside the 'help' item)
which could find a menu item and make a list of found items and maybe a short
description of them ?

It could be very easy and fast, especially in every application with a lot of menu items.

For example a search like "folder*" in kmail would create a list of paths like:

File > Expire all folders
File > Empty all trash folders
Go > Next undread folder
Folder > New Folder
Folder > Delete folder

Of course they're links to the corresponding functions.

And maybe the search could be extended
to the description of every menu item.

Maybe this one was a good idea.

Apple implemented the menu pointers in OSX Leopard, released in October 2007.
