kxkb character set change

I need to change the positions of 2 characters of the Bulgarian phonetic keyboard layout. For example: when I press the W key I need to have the V character typed and viceversa. It is because of some specific letters in my language. Would someone help me, please? I am using KDE 3.5.1 at SuSE 10.0. I am a Linux newbie, so please explain it in a simple way ;-)

Thanks

RE: kxkb character set change

Go to the KDE Configuration Center, choose Region & Accessibility -> Keyboard Map Tool and then choose the Bulgarian layout. I don't know if this will work, but it's worth a try. Else we have to search for a more sophisticated solution.

RE: kxkb character set change

I tried this but didn't find keyboard mapping in my control center. Somebody told me to edit the /etc/X11/xkb/symbols/bg file. I did it and it works now, so I am happy :-)

Thanks a lot for your help too!
