sound effects when opening files and folders??

Hello!!

Is it possible to let KDE play small sound effects when opening files and folders in Konqueror and on the desktop?? For example like this "click" sound in Windows?? I looked for something like this in the KDE control center but I only found sound effects for example for maximizing/minimizing windows but not for opening files and/or folders.
I am using Kubuntu 5.10 and upgraded to KDE 3.5.

Thanks for reading and greetings!!

In your kde control center, choose sound -> system notifications, there you can set sounds for most of the actions in kde (i.e. if you choose window-manager from the sources-listbox)

Thank you very much for your reply :) Hmm, I already knew about these settings in the control center, but so far I couldn't find there what I am looking for. I can set there sounds for maximizing, minimizing, opening, closing... of windows but not for the opening of files and folders. Or am I just missing something there??

Thanks again and greetings :)

I don't know if this will help, but I use Mandriva 2006 and KDE 3.4.2
I goto Configure Your Desktop - Look&Feel - System Notifications
Then there is an Event Source: dropdown box that has all sorts of choices. I.E. kde system notifications kde window manager and so on, where you can turn on or off all sounds or even choose differnt sounds for everything you are talking about. Hopefully they wouldn't have done away with this feature in KDE 3.5. Maybe they just moved it somewhere else?
hope this helps 8)
