kopete and gadu-gadu

hello,
I have a 0.9.0. version of Kopete and some problem with configurating my Gadu-Gadu account. Each time I press the button "create an account", a message "Connexion Error" appears (... and doesn't want to disappear:-)). Does the problem come from Kopete? Gadu-gadu server? Can someone tell me what I sould do to configurate it?

AFAIK Kopete's gate for gadu-gadu protocol isn't good enough. Many bugs and also AFAIK it's not developed at this time

but Kadu is much better for gg-protocol. Kadu doesn't heve possibility to use jabber, ICQ, AIM, etc (it will have in future). So maybe Kadu, PSI or SIM (jabber) with gg-gates?

thanks Patpi, I'll try with Kadu, I hope it will work (I am a "brand new Linux user", just have to find out how to install it!!!:-D)

Kadu and EKG (konsole gg ;-) ) use libgadu... so IMO it's problem with kopete's gg-module, not with libgadu...

But I didn't use Kopete for a loooong time so it's not for 100%

ok, just... next question (:-)):
what's libsndfile (especially libsndfile>=1.0.11-) and how can I get it??? (it seems to be at least one of the reasons I can't install Kadu... Is it really necessary? and what a hell should I do with it???
