Sync Bookmarks for Konqueror and Firefox

Hallo everybody!
I would like to use the same bookmarks in konqueror (KDE/Linux) and Firefox (Linux,Windows) on different machines. For file transfer, I can access an ftp-server. Firefox allows for syncing bookmarks in XBEL format with files on the server thanks to an extension. This is cool, since I have also my bookmarks, when I am offline or when the ftp-server is not available. Is there a similar feature for konqueror?

PS: If you know a solution for syncing addresses in Thunderbird and KMail, please visit my thread in the PIM section of this forum.

You can easily copy the file, for example on KDE startup, but I am not sure if it is possible to sync them.

Example for copying form commandline

kfmclient copy URL target

kfmclient copy ftp://username:password@host/path/file.xml .kde/share/apps/konqueror

bookmarkbridge

I found a tool, that does exactly what you're looking for! It's called bookmarkbridge (bookmarkbridge.sourceforge.net) and syncs bookmarks for all major browsers. If you use debian or kubuntu, you can easily apt-get it.

Works finde for me.. :)
