K Menu Problem and panel problem

I'm running Debian unstable and after an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade, my kde 3.3.2 is getting me crazy:
- In the K Menu I don't have any application (nor icons nor application names). I just have Actions "Bookmarks", "Quick Browser", Run Command...", "Lock Session" and "Logout..." with the icons.
- In the panel, I only have the Desktop icon and K menu icon.
- In order to run any application, I need to the run the command of the required application (e.g., if I want a console I have to type Konsole in the "Run Command..." box).
- I can't do nothing in the Control Center, since there's any icon in the control center application.
I would appreciate any help in order to solve my problem and have my icons in the panel and in k menu.

Thanks in advance,

Polux Troy

problem half-resolved for me...

Hello,

I ran into the same problem after an "aptitude ugrade" on debian etch.
Followed the indications mentioned here : http://www.kde-forum.org/redir.php?url=h…%3Fbug%3D323747
and the applications in the Kmenu came back, but the KDE Contrel Center remains totally empty, except for the peripherals entry.... (see attachment)
Can someone help me please ?

Thanks
