Hello,
Since yesterday I got a very annoying prob. If I send ICQ Messages to Win users who are using original ICQ clients then they see all my linfeeds as <br /> tags

Example:
line_1
line_2

goes to:
line_1<br />line_2<br />


I didnt changed anything - suddenly it was that behavior.
I tried to delete my ~/.kde - no success
I updated from KDE 3.4.0 to 3.4.1 - no success

anybody else got that problem? any Ideas how to solve that?

Finally I really really hate kopete - At least ICQ is totally broken.
But I need a ICQ client which can use KDE's taskbar and which is able to pop up the messages.

Is there a working alternative ICQ client for KDE?

Ok, I could fix that prob using
kdenetwork-420881
from daily kde snapshot
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/snapshots/

kopete shows himself now as 0.10.9

I needed to delete
~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/contactlist.xml
because it doubled all my contacts after first start.

I still got some other probs with crashs while I cut my Internet connection or when I click kopete icon on taskbar but Iam able to use ICQ again almost stable.
