I have just upgraded to KDE 3.4 and now I cannot open or save files in OpenOffice. When I try it produces a crash report and then OOo won't open again until I re-boot.

This seems to be directly linked to upgrding to KDE 3.4.

Any ideas what might be causing this and and how to resolve it? At the moment I can';t do any work which is more than frustrating.

I've un-installed adn r-installed OOo. Also done an upgrade of FC3 which is the distro I am using. All to no avail

OK, let me reply to my own message.

After hunting around I found that this was reported as Bug 100849 and a simple bit of editing a file resolved the problem.

I am now a happier KDE 3.4 user
