Oh yes - all other icons are fine, except those two. The only thing that seems special about those two is that they have their customized icons. I wonder if that does it? -t
Hi there.. Although the folder ~/Documents and ~/Pictures exist on disk, and have their shortcuts on ~/Desktop , these icons do not show on desktop! If I open up the file browser and navigate to Desktop, I can see that both Documents and Pictures symbolic links exist, but the desktop itself does not show them! I tried removing the symbolic links and re-creating them, but it did not help. I also went into the control center and enabled 'show hidden', still no go. Is there any way to show these tw...
Help! I am using Mandriva 10.2.. I had some odd problems in the past, like uninstalling ALSA drivers using "rpm -e" (I re-added them by compiling the source), resulted in me losing the rpm command altogether! (that got uninstalled too!) This is with kernel 2.6.15. I since "repaired" my RPM command and database, or so I thought.
