[kopete] Gadu Gadu plug-in gone?

Hi, I am using the Gadu Gadu plug-in to connect to some of my polish friends. Since about a week I cannot connect to the Gadu Gadu server anymore. I have no clue what happened... Using Kopete 0.11.1 in KDE 3.5.1 Maybe this happened together with the update from 0.11, but I'm not sure.

UI improvement proposal [Kopete]

so what you are suggesting is a button for adding an account? So a quick button for Settings>Kopete Settings>Accounts... It's already there... just a bit hidden. Go to Settings>Set Menubar and then add "Settings" and there you go You'll still have to delete the account after using it though, this can be done by pushing the same button and delete... PS. I am not someone related to Kopete or KDE. so it's just my humble opinion. Please say so if this is not what you intended. PPS. My KDE is in dutc...

UI improvement proposal [Kopete]

I prefer current style. It works like most other multi-IM and on the first ever start-up you got a wizard helping you with the account setup.

Konstruct finished but no kde3.5?

sorry, I can't help there... It just seemed the logical thing you tend to forget about.

Konstruct finished but no kde3.5?

I got no clue... but following might be it: KDE is installed in a separate directory, next to your existing KDE (that I just learned) so you might need to sign off (not reboot/halt) and adjust the sessiontype at log-in.

Konstruct or system upgrade

Hi, I am using SuSE 10.0 and I have seen Konstruct on the KDE website. I notice that construct uses Tar.gz files to update/install KDE. I know that this provides a better build for the system your working on, but I got several questions before I want to try it out. I am currently running a quite recent version (although an alpa I think) of KDE 3.5. I hope I can solve some problems I have, plus achieve a faster system via Konstruct, is this so? and if, then how does this "konstruct KDE" co-operat...

[kopete] msn/yahoo/etc. "offline" contacts

Hi all, I use most of the protocols kopete is able to handle. Since I got a lot of contacts that way I hide offline contacts. Now I want to hide most of my offline contacts, so that's no problem, but for Yahoo! I want to see my offline contacts, because most of my contacts have "show offline"/"invisible" on by default. Is there a way to show offline contacts for Yahoo!, but hide the offline contacts for the other protocols? thanks for you assistance, Patrick EDIT: I seem to be running: Kopete 0....

Football / Soccer Simulation Game for Linux?

I don't think you can use the names without their permission. Also the names can not be GPL probably. Team-names are trademarks. You might concider 2 seperate licences, one for the actual game (GPL) and one for players, team-names etc. you make a different licence (probably the respective copywrites), better talk to a lawyer/solicitor about that...

[amaroK] Pearllyrics, The end. What about amarok?

http://webwereld.nl/articles/38715 http://www.pearworks.com/pages/pearLyrics.html These articles describe that Pearlyrics (Mac OS X) has to stop displaying/searching lyrics on the internet on Warner Musics bidding. What doe this mean for my Lyrics function on amaroK? I really like it, but I am afraid sometime amaroK will get suit as well... or is there a big difference between the two systems?

A quick way to change dictionary

I must agree to this point. I talk several languages and am quite happy with the default english dictionairy, even though my kde is in dutch. But I do write lot of german, spanish, dutch and swedish as well... It would be nice to have those languages spell-checked as well. Ideal would be auto recognition, but I remember the old MS Word not handling this very comfortably (I must admit I haven't used it in 2 years). The best would be a switch in the system-tray, so you can also switch betweem US-e...
