Hi, I want to create a new Kicker menu (like the K-Menu) with all my favorite applications in it. Can someone give me a hint? I can't find any suitable entry in Kicker -> Add (or wherever). I'm using SuSE 9.1 with KDE 3.2.3. Thanks for your advice.
If someone (like me) is not interested in kopete it is really anoying to read all those "can't compile", "MSN not working"... kopete topics. There should be an additional forum for kopete because of so much posts about it. Tom
Please have at your $PATH variable as root PATH=$PATH:/opt/kde3/bin ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 should do it. BTW: Why do you compile as root? Where's no need to do that! Tom

All those topics sound very good for me but you have to consider, that there are thousand other community pages/boards with exactly the same information. Why usimg multiple kmail sessions? With kmail you can handle as much different identities as you want. You can also define filter actions to sort your mail into different mailboxes. That's it. So, there is no need to run multiple sessions of kmail.
Hi, have you tried "ripit" (http://mmj.dk/ripit/). It is a small perl script, which you can as a command line tool. You can rip mp3 and ogg with it and it uses the cddb databases. Pretty fine! Greets Tom
