The MSN servers were upgraded today or yesterday. Kopete used an old authentification method and this no longer works. See http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=105929 for more information. Isn't it annoying the way that they "upgrade" their servers and block out third party apps. In an ideal world, IM programs would work and they would interoperate.
