hello board, i am trying to setup a system with network mounted home directories using cifs. my Samba 3.0.7-Debian runs with unix extensions enabled and my client 2.6.7-rc2-mm2 has cifs support. the homedirectory is mounted using pam_mount succesfully: [code:1] mhunger@froob ~ $: mount //eris/mhunger on /home/mhunger type cifs (rw,mand) [/code:1] X11 runs on that. fluxbox, xterm, firefox also do. but when i try to start kde (without having fluxbox started) i get some messed up window...
