how to open in full screen?

thanks for the reply. i actually found the -f option too. as far as the repeat play behaviour, while i haven't found any command options for it, i have found that kaffeine remembers its mode setting. that means that by opening the player and selecting 'playlist--->repeat,' kaffeine will remain in that mode on its next opening. the combination of these two things has solves this issue for me. would still rather have the security of a command for making sure it opens specifically in repeat mode, t...

make mouse invisible?

i'm using a mandriva box to play a video file in an art gallery all day. whenever the video file recycles, the mouse cursor reappears in the center of the screen. how can i disable this behaviour? i'm trying to make the running of the piece as simple as possible so as not to involve those working in the gallery beyond having to turn the box on and off. to that end i've set the player, kaffeine, to start the file on boot, in full screen mode, and with the playlist repeating. the only two issues l...

how to open in full screen?

using 0.8.3. i have kaffeine set to open when i double-click an avi file. how do i make it so when i double-click these files the player opens fullscreen? currently it does not. i'd also like to make it go directly into repeat play mode. in other words, when i double-click an avi file, i want kaffeine to open fullscreen and loop the playing of that file. thanks, BabaG

kaddressbook ldif import question

i have several ldif address lists. using mdk10.0, kde 3.2. when i import my lists i seem to only have the option of importing to one giant list and then, by hand, assigning each entry to a category. is there a way i can directly import these various lists to its own category? for example, if i have an ldif file 'friends.ldif', and another 'family.ldif', can i import each to its own category without having to bring them both into a single long list and then, one by one, assign each to either the ...
