Where I've had problems is in moving from - say evolution to kaddressbook. I so seldom do this, that it is several hours before I get marginal results. I've always hated to re-invent the wheel and so when I face things like this, my tolerance level is low. As I said, thanks for letting me vent. You've really had good success with vcf? What amazes me about address books, is that after all these years, no one has set standards for exchanging address books between these applications. Once again I'm facing typing in 250 addresses into another contact list. Importing and exporting is a joke. Has anyone solved this problem? The first application that will import address books from Outlook Express, Outlook, Kaddressbook, Evolution, etc., et.al. will get my business for a lifetime! Any suggestions out there?
