so all of a sudden im without icons for almost everything... some apps run still altho are very difficult to use ... some crash on startup (presumably they cannot init their toolbars or such) does anybody have any idea how to fix this without a complete reinstall? debian sarge + kde 3.2.3 thnx
hehe np on the s/he thing ... happens all the time i think its related to the base libs like u say but im not an expert at this either ... afaik its to do with some libs being out of step with other libs and causing a screw-up somewhere deep down in the bowels of kde ... if i find a definitive answer i'll let u know as for what holds back the releases ... i think its the testing stages and bug discovery ... i guess the idea is its better to have a broken display style than a broken core system ....
yes exactly all my styles disappeared except the sucky ones and yes i'm on debian and no im not "he" just fyi
how can i fix the broken window styles i suddenly have on 3.2.2? all i can see is a few styles (inc windows ughhhhhhhhhh0 and they all look crappy
