Hmmm, Yepp, coincidence - but that happens... It's fairly logical for them to cut off Kopete after they released Yahoo client for Linux... Even if it's junk, it gives linux users the possibility to use Yahoo. Noone can blame them for locking us out now can they... I hope there will be a fix for Kopete whithout to much hassle with DMCA and EULA etc... I can't see the advantage for Yahoo to force us to use their crappy client as most of us are not going to pay for yahoo nor replacing the Linux box...
Urrgh! After installing and testing the new (crappy) Yahoo Messenger for Linux, the kopete connection to Yaho fails.......... I can't login anymore. I have SuSE 9,1 with Kopete 0.8.1 and KDE 3.2.1 So! Stay away from the Yahoo Messenger for now. Cheers Dan
