Ah, sorry.. actually it seems like overall filters-applying issue - when I create a filter with "Hide completed to-dos" checked, it doesn't apply neither
I've created a todo-list and specified attendees for every todo. When I create a filter where I set the option "Hide to-dos not assigned to me" and activate it, nothing changes in the todo-view (aka the filter seems not to work). The calendar sits in remote .ics file, so when I check the list in Korganizer 3.5.x, the same filter works OK. I guess it's the problem of defining myself in Korganizer 4.1.1 (although when assigning tasks to myself, it doesn't ask about the e-mail notification) - how d...
Hello. I'm using KDE 4.1 on FreeBSD-6.3. I'm still using some KDE 3.5.x apps as the new versions of these don't work properly. One of these is Kopete. The problem is that every time I start Kopete, it also starts KMail (3.5.x), which I don't use anymore. I've deleted .kde/share/apps/kmail and .kde/share/config/kmail*, but it doesn't matter. Anybody has any clues where does this come from?
I guess you've already found the answer - http://phonon.kde.org/cms/1032. But my question is about the answer itself - does Phonon list only these devices that are softvol plugins? I tried setting a name and a hint to "type plug", but it still wasn't listed in Phonon, although it showed up in "aplay -L". I don't want to use softvol, because it seems that it causes ALSA to take a lot more CPU (ie. I hear some weird lags and glitches in Amarok (using ALSA directly)) - could softvol really cause th...
Hi! I've had the same problem with KDE-3.5.5 on FreeBSD-6.2. I tried changing the Konqueror's command in KMenu to "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing %u" - that helped, but then just launching Konqueror opened filemanagement by default. If I set Web Browser (in Control Center -> KDE Components -> Component chooser) to /usr/local/bin/konqueror, web-pages open OK from URLs, but I believe that's just a workaround, not the expected behaviour, is it? What else could help? Silver
Retrying doesn't help in my case. Usually I'm reselecting text and trying to paste it for about 5 times, not willing to believe it is happening. In my case there's help only of refreshing the page.. sometimes.
Hi. First of all - I use KDE 3.5.2 on FeeBSD 6.0 and I don't use Klipper. I have a weird problem with Konqueror sometimes - when I visit a web-page, the copy-paste just doesn't work, especially the copy operation. I can copy text from address-bar, but if I highlight some text on the page and try to copy it, it won't get copied, ie. I don't have anything to paste in any app. I can overcome the problem by just refreshing the page. Actually I guess it's not a problem of Konqueror, but the overall I...
Hah. I didn't look at the date of the bug-report I mentioned. And the solution didn't help either. So I reported a bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=122362
I started to submit a bug-report for that and discovered, it's been asked and solved already. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58048
Hi! I run KDE 3.5.1 on FreeBSD 6.0 at home. Here are several users using the one and only session, so I have about 10 MSN-accounts (plus 1 Jabber-account) set up in Kopete. For not having a few thousands contacts in contactlist, I delete ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/contactlist.xml every time before starting Kopete. Since upgrading to KDE 3.5.0, users' contactlists don't get updated after setting their account online (or whatever other state) - it just remains empty. After deleting ~/.kde/share/apps...
Hi! I use KDE 3.5.0 on FreeBSD 6.0. I have Baghira for my windows decorations, but it's not possible to resize windows from bottom corners - it's really uncomfortable. I can't find an option for allowing it When I choose any other windows' decoration manager (ie. Plastik), resizing is possible. How can I enable this for Baghira? Silver
Seems like the problematic file was ~/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu. I deleted it and K-Menu reappeared. But HTTPS doesn't still work Silver
Hi. I run FreeBSD 5.4 and I just upgraded KDE from 3.4.2 to 3.4.3 by recompiling it. Now I don't have any entries in K-menu's application menu or in any configuration menu (like taking Settings -> Configure Konqueror in Konqueror). If I try adding some applications in kappfinder, it doesn't do anything. Menu editor doesn't show anything either. Executing kcontrol says: "kcontrol: WARNING: No K menu group with X-KDE-BaseGroup=settings found ! Defaulting to Settings/". I used XFCE for a while and ...
as i suspected, there's probably some library inconsistency. under FreeBSD, there appeared new ports for kdelibs and kdebase. after upgrading them, Kopete seems more normal now (reinstalling "*kde*" didn't help before). i say "more", because there's still one weird thing - when a contact isn't connected to server, the icon in the left-bottom corner is colorful, but it shouldn't be so. at least it ain't so on my other FreeBSD 5.3 (there's KDE 3.4.0 also and Kopete works OK). those problems are on...
oh yeah, still.. if I configure some window's toolbars and move any action from left column (available actions) to right column (current actions), that action won't appear in the right column before I push OK. so for moving that action from right to left, I have to push OK and then restart configuring toolbars. seems a nasty bug or a veeery weird feature
Hi. I use FreeBSD 5.3 and I just upgraded the whole KDE from 3.3.2 to 3.4.0. The first problem after logging back in was that I couldn't see any windows' titlebars. Changing windows themes/styles from control center didn't help. Okay, so I moved my old ~/.kde to ~/.kde.bak and started configuring my preferences from very beginning and almost everything seems to work now. I haven't noticed any bugs but in those in kopete yet. I didn't want to start configuring kopete again so I copied my ~/.kde.b...
Yes, it should, but it isn't! I know where to look it for. Thanks anyway
I've studied a little latin with KLatin helping me, but it seems that I've found a bug in grammar section. Shouldn't 5th feminine's singular accusative of "res" be "rem" (klatin says it should be "res") - singular accusative always ends with "m", doesn't it? One suggestions also: * option to ignore typos in words' roots (I hope that's the right word in english for that ) - ie. if I type "bllum" instead of "bellum", I did know the right answer, but my score falls down Silver
Hi! I started to set up a flashplayer for my konqueror (on FreeBSD 5.3 and KDE 3.3.1), but I can't find the plugin tab from "settings -> configure konqueror" - I'm pretty sure it's missing So why? How can I set it up there? thanks in advance, Silver
hi. thanks for your reply. but like i wrote, my shortcut for copy already is ctrl+c, but it doesn't work, and it never has
