dpkg-divert

Quoted kharkoma, is there a way to install the conflicting package while keeping the already installed version of the conflicting file instead of overwriting it? I dont know, at this moment my debian is in home, in job only win , but with dpkg-divert i think that is posible, with dpkg-divert you can manage conflicts with same libraries in diferent packages. See you and sorry for my bad english
