Quoted Originally posted by anda_skoa Works fine here Konqueror 3.3.2 In any case the jsp is broken, as it should write proper content type headers in its reponse. Cheers, _ Ok, I'm using 3.4.1. Perhaps something broke since the 3.3 series. And I say broke, as even though the jsp is not sending proper format, other browsers detect and render the page properly. End users don't care who isn't doing things right, they just want it to work. So sweeping it under the carpet and pointing at the websit...
But shouldn't Konqueror be ignoring the leading white space? That appears to be the behavior of Firefox.
I did that on a link and the output showed that it is not sending a MIME type. Here's one of the links I'm having trouble with: https://carenet.fnfismd.com/indymacbank/ACCLogin.jsp Wget reports that this link is a Sun One webserver sending HTTP/1.1 and setting a session cookie.
Basically when I try to access a page that has .jsp as the end of the URL, konqueror wants to open KWrite and just dump the stream from the webserver into it, rather than render the page itself. I've tried setting the mime type and associating the extension for .jsp to go to konqueror, but that has had no effect. If I use firefox, the pages are rendered correctly. Has anyone else seen/fixed this? (Searching KDE bugs didn't turn up anything.)
I've been seeing some odd behavior with MSN for about a week now. I'm using version 0.8.1 with KDE 3.2.1 on several different machines. The behaviour is similar to what has been said already. I was getting the odd "224" error code, but then it stopped occuring. When that happened my contacts no longer appeared online. The can see me and my status message, I get MSN mailbox notifications. Also they can start chats with me, but I can't send back as they are marked offline. I haven't made any chang...
I see that option on the configuration dialog for KsCD, but it's greyed out. Does anyone know what it's dependent on to become available for activation? I've googled and searched this and the gentoo forums for about 2 hours now. I'm using KDE 3.2 and kernel 2.6.3.
Nevermind. Browsing the kopete mail archives I came across a reference to this bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66865. I guess it'll be a while before it's fixed. *sigh*
I've done a little digging and have some more on this. Downloaded and built the 0.8 beta (7.93). Turned on the history module. Still can't see the text sent by one of my friends, but the chat logs revealed something interesting; each of her lines was prefixed with ^[[1m^[[36m. The character pair ^[ is the ASCII ESC character. (These look VTxxx escape codes.) The corresponding message I get in the chat display is that it can't parse the XML. So, before I file a bug report, did I overlook a text p...
Has anyone found the right setup to make Konqueror work with IFilm.com? Everytime I try I only get the blurb about them testing my system for media players (200K option), or the one that states real media is not available for my system (500K option).
I'm seing a variation on this. Any text effects make the incoming text invisible with Yahoo. Kopete version 0.7.4, gentoo build.
I'm seeing the same bug. Exact same behaviour as you described. I'm using version 0.7.4. Time to check the bugs database ...
