I found out that the file isn't saved on the server but at the local dir /var/tmp/kde-cache-yves/krun And that's not what i want. If i open a fil...

Quoted Original von seb you have to view them from the history option on the contact sub menu. Yes i know, but i saved the conversation directly from the conversation window(conversation->save; it's an .xml file now) before and i did not have the history plugin installed, so i can't view it that way either. When opening the xml file it gets wrong interepreted and i only see the rough code, with the conversation text in between, which is hard to re-read the conversation this way. I Just see it t...
I can't open saved conversations. Kopete saves it in an .xml format, though when i open it, i see only the rough code, and that's a bit hard reading! I use kopete 0.8 on KDE 3.2.2. Any solutions? tnx! PS I saved conversations before with an earlier version of kopete and have no problem opening them.
Quoted Original von seb if it only started happening yesterday, remove ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete/ and ~/.kde/config/kopeterc and reconfigure kopete. Tnx for this information, here also everything works fine now. Regards,
Quoted Original von m4ktub Start a chat then, in the chat window, choose Settings|configure Shortcuts. There you can find Ctrl+Enter assigned to the Send Message action. And of course you can change it there to a simple "ENTER" instead of "CTRL+ENTER" Regards...
euhm...I'm using kopete 0.74 and don't have any troubles(for the moment) to connect to the msn network. I've had them before and changing one of my msn contacts to another group before connecting solved the problem then. But the last week i don't seem to have any problems anymore.
Quoted Original von tuxnet Quoted Original von jaybee I found the only way I can connect to MSN is to remove my MSN account from configure - accounts and create a new one each time I start Kopete, I then get a connection. A bit of a pain to have to do it, but it works for me yep that is exacly what I have to do too, to get it working although a couple of times I ended up with double the entries for each user :-( Just change one of your contacts to another group before conecting. You 'll connect...
I'm using kopete 0.74 because msn was disconnecting me with the 0.72. This problem still remains in the 0.74 !!! Anyway the thrick to change one off your contacts to another group before you connect still works, and allows you to connect again.

Quoted Original von thargoid Try going into the kopete directory after the configure command and before the make command. > cd [source dir] > configure [options] > cd kopete > make I did that and I am compiling at the moment so I am not sure if that is the complete solution. But I'm making progress Yes it worked. thargoid. It sure worked for me2 !!! Tnx bro!
Yes there is but i'm having troubles to do the MAKE command, ./configure works fine, but then i get: make: *** Geen regel voor aanmaken doel `kopete/plugins/perlscript/configure.in.in', nodig voor `configure.in'. Stop. translation; No rule for making destination 'kopete/... needed fot configure.in' Anyone with a solution or even better an rpm for MDK9.1 ?
