Recently kmail has refused to open for me. I click the icon or enter the command, and the taskbar and cursor indicators tell me that it's launching activate, but the app lever launches. There is no daemon in the taskbar, and there is no kmail in the process manager. Can anyone help me?
I trying to install the SuSE via the FTP installation process, but in order to set up my network card, I need to enter paramaters. What paramaters should I enter?
My computer freezes evwery time I try to burn something to my new Memorex Cool Colors Pocket CD-Rs (what a mouthfull). Consequently, I can't burn the SuSE FTP installation ISO file to a disk. How can I boot to my flash drive, so I can put it there instead?
I'm trying to do some work in OOo for Spanish class, but breaking out the character sheet gets to be a pain. How can I type the accented characters (áéíóú) and the ñ. In Windows, you can type [alt] and a combination of numbers (160, 168, etc.) to get characters of that sort. How can I replicate this on Linux? -Brian
I haven't found or installed any add-on games yet, (I'm kinda new) so my vote must be cast for the built-in Putt-Putt (Kolf).
I have a Palm M125, and it won't let me sync. It tells me it can't open the pilot file. The kpilot site says it works with an M125 USB on SuSE, but I have Red Hat 9. Can someone help me, please? I taked care of this, and I'll be through with Windows. I am anxious not to have to rebooyt into different partitions whenever I need to sync.
Never used Koffice, but I know I like OOo. Needs a grammer check and a better spellchecker though. And PDA software. Documents To Go doesn't sync well when you don't have Word.

OOOOOOOOOhhhhhhh... Thanks. THat explains it.
Try going to the select 'wallpaper' window, clicking the browse option, going tot eh folder containing the GIF, and dselecting the file. Click 'OK' and it should work.
