Mozilla can be used to browse your file system but it is certainly not the best solution. Knode needs seperate configuration. Don´t forget to add %u to the command line in knode and the configurationcenter. Ton

I've been searching but can't find a possible solution. The button I placed on my taskbar uses "kdesktop default logout" as a shortcut. But I guess this doesn't do the trick for you.

You need to setup NFS (or SAMBA) to do that. NFS works fine for me with my desktop and laptop.

1) I guess you use auto-login? Try turning that off and see if it works now from KDE. If so I think I can help you a bit further. Ton

For xscreensaver control you need to run: "xscreensaver-demo" This gives you a window in which you can setup the different screensavers. Read more at: http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/ There's a very very small HOWTO on my website. Just to show you the way. HTH, Ton
