If you want to replace the image of konqi with something else you need to do the following: [list] Create the directory ~/.kde/share/apps/ksmserver/pics Place the image you want to use in this directory and name it: shutdownkonq.png[/list:u][/list]

KDE Desktop help?

I've been searching but can't find a possible solution. The button I placed on my taskbar uses "kdesktop default logout" as a shortcut. But I guess this doesn't do the trick for you.

Want to access another server and view files in Konqueror

You need to setup NFS (or SAMBA) to do that. NFS works fine for me with my desktop and laptop.

1) I guess you use auto-login? Try turning that off and see if it works now from KDE. If so I think I can help you a bit further. Ton

screensaver

For xscreensaver control you need to run: "xscreensaver-demo" This gives you a window in which you can setup the different screensavers. Read more at: http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/ There's a very very small HOWTO on my website. Just to show you the way. HTH, Ton
