Hi, This should do what you are looking for: http://desk3d.sourceforge.net/ I have not tested it, but in the FAQ it claims to support kde3: Quoted 8. Does it work with KDE 3? Yes. Use the --kde3 or --ewmh switch to 3ddeskd. GNOME 2 and KDE 3 use the same EWMH standard. Steve

Hi, I'm not at all familiar with FreeBSD, but lots of (most?, all?) SB16's are either an Ensonique AudioPCI 1371 or 1370. Hope that might be helpful. Steve

Quoted Original von mshelby I am in process of developing a minimal distro from source code which only kde-required and reccommended programs as it's base. My goal is to develop a very streamlined distro with only KDE apps. Sort of like a minimal test distro. absolutly no clutter. Anyone interested? (I know, I know.... why not just get "XXX-Distro" and only install the basic files But where's the fun in that?!) I really like your idea, unfortunately I don't have time to help. But, since trying Gentoo last October/November, I am hooked and I have learned so much more. I formated my wind...
Do you mean you are having the same problem as me? I'm compiling qt-3.1.2 right now and I'll let you know if that works.
Hi, No promises, but it might be helpful to set DisplaySize in your XF86Config file just in case Xfree isn't using the correct dpi. Search for DisplaySize here: http://www.xfree86.org/~dawes/4.3.0/XF86Config.5.html Also, this post might be helpful: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=6442&highlight=displaysize Steve
Hi, I like to set the Application Menu to open when I middle click my mouse. After upgrading to kde 3.1.1, it does not work properly anymore. The menu briefly appears and then disappears. (This happens when I try to set the application menu to either of the other two mouse buttons too). The other two buttons are set to Window List Menu and Desktop Menu and they work fine. Somehow, the Application Menu works (doesn't disappear) when I middle click over an icon. This is annoying because the only i...
