I'm very new to Linux (until 2 weeks ago I thought mounting was something bulls did). I'm running Lycoris. I would like to be able to connect to the internet, check my email etc and then maybe logout so that my wife or daughter can log in and use the same internet connection without having to redial. Lycoris uses kppp and I find that if I log out and someone else logs in, the internet connection is still there (good) but they cannot access it (bad) as the process belongs to me (I presume).
