kdebase required X11 binaries , my problem is it is not able to find the path when i compile and install xfree86 and kdebase at a stretch, for example , xmkmf is a xfree86 binary which is required by kdebase during ./configure,

That 's a pretty long title, as says in all , we have options in the configure file of kdebase-3.1.1 for xfree86 include and libraries but no option to specify the directory for xfree86 bin ( /usr/x11R6/bin ), Does anyone know how to specify the DIR in kdebase configure by hook or crook ?

I am using a linux from scratch system. I have a problem with the konsole. I am able to open only one konsole at a time. When i open more than one konsole , it appears and disappears immediatly. Can someone help me ?

I get the following error ( for any login ) , when i login via KDM. The following error comes in a dialog box " There is some critical error has occured , please refer to kdm.log or contact system administrator " but kdm.log shows only normal entries. Is there a solution to this ?
