But when I try to access my Windows computer with Konquerer (I prefer to use KDE) I am able to see my C drive but cannot access it. Is there any other way to browse my network in KDE? I use this, I also have issues wit...

Quoted Original von FlowerDragon Hey, i realize this is an old question, but i've searched the forum and around the net and I honestly can't find an answer. I upgraded to KDE 3.1 from 3.0 my panel says it's "KDE Panel 1.1 (Using KDE 3.1.0)" but there's no option anywhere for having it be transparent. what am i missing? Unfortunately they still need more help in that area, to allow a better control ...

At the same time the menu bar seems to have lost some of its original functionality. Didn't it originally replace the window menu bars, thus foll...

Re: Desktop Toolbar Won't go away

Quoted Original von cybercub Using kde3.1 I enabled the desktop menu bar that sits up on the top. When I goto disable it, nothing happens, I also manually edited the .kde/share/config/kdesktop.rc and put it to fasle, yet it still there!! How can I disable it? I would not mind it if it were configurable to look like gnomes desktop bar, but this bar is hindering the look of my current theme :-D. I found the problem, is in the control panel under style, the "show macos type toolbar" was enabled.. ...
