In earlier versions I noticed and got to like the KMail behavior that I could drag a message from my inbox to a folder; if there were subfolders in this folder, the top folder opened to show the subfolders, and so on also with the subfolders. I cannot recreate this behavior with my current KMail and have been looking without success through .kde4/share/config/kmailrc for some keyword which looks somewhat related to this activity.
