I had exactly the same problem a couple of months ago; searched for the solution online and fixed it. Now I have the same problem again and forgot how I fixed it. Here's the problem In KDE filemanager, both dolphin and konqueror, home folder contents are not visible. I am able to see contents for all other folders except user home. I can also see all files in home folder on terminal using 'ls' command. Thanks, Nadeem

I have my rsa public key copied to authorized_keys on remote server, and I have created config file in .ssh with username and identity file of my choice (I have different identity files for different servers) I have different usernames on different servers and using ssh using config file (with different identity files for each entry) gives me no trouble logging into any of those accounts.
