Quoted from "MichaelSD" I have the following problem. I got a Kubuntu 8.04 installed with KDE 4.1 on my old Toshiba 2430-201. On the road a I use the notebook's display with 1024x768, but at home I use a 19" display with a resolution of 1280x1024.The problem is I do not have the appropriate resolutions listed when I try to change the resolution in the System Setting.
