"How can I reconstruct the menu and 'repair' kcontrol?" Anyone? Anyone? I need to do this exact thing.... my application menu is wiped the config file is completely missing. I'm going to attempt to reconstruct the applications config file and see if that fixes it.
My applications menu seems to be shot. failed installation of kxdocker led to this i believe. and konquerer is misbehaving somewhat as well. (slow and fails to launch windows erratically) missing the kde applications file, I'm chasing this problem down when i have time, if i find anything i'll update.
