Can somebody help?

Hello everyone. I have recently configured KDE on freeBSD 6.2. Everything works well except for the CDRW and DVD. my devices are /dev/acd0 and /dev/acd1. Can someone show me how to make each device work? I can't figure it out. Thank you.
