My external HD is formated Fat32, but I was not aware of a difference in Fat32 versions. Anyway, windows is able to write these special characters to the HD. Hello, i have copied some files with special characters from a DVD onto my kubuntu 7.04 linux. they look like this now: 04 la vie de r??ve (well the two question marks are little rectangles in my konqueror) now i want to copy these files to an external disc, but konqueror gives me an error message "Could not make folder /media/disk-1/Sound/Dub/Lab??."
