i run freespire 2.0, and the guys at freespire changed the kmenu icon from the previous cool looking rectangle type icon (http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Fre…u?content=49618) to a new kde standard square icon. i'd like to change it back. someone on the freespire forums told me that i have to apply a specific patch, and posted a text file with the patch: http://forum.freespire.org/showthread.php?t=10040 but noone there seems to be able to instruct me in how to do that. so my question is: how...
this is a major accessibilty feature which kde lacks. gnome has one but it doesn't work in kde, and it's a piece of garbage which takes up half the screen and disables the actual keyboard. msoft actually did a really good job with this one. this feature is incredibly important for anyone who can't use a keyboard or who needs to be able to type using different characters (chinese, hebrew, arabic, etc.). i used to use this feature all the time and miss it terribly. for any developers interested in...
Quoted the 'start' or menu ikon, kan it be change? i really dislike it it. some distros like xandros, linspire, and freespire have already changed this. see if you can get a hold of one of those themes also check out this thread: Change the K button and this one: Hacking KDE Start Icon
I'm a linspire/freespire guy and I like KDE, especially with their tweaks (new KMenu icon etc.), but people are trying to get them to switch to other menus because some features are missing in kmenu. specifically an option to set the time delay before sub-menus open and right click functionality in kmenu. would you guys mind sticking those in the next release? if the first issue is a Qt issue, would someone please mention it to them? I don't know how.
