i am having exactly the same trouble at my pc running Debian Unstable and it happens with every version of kopete it seems. I did not have it at first, however. On my second pc also running Debian Unstable I do not have that problem. http method does not make any difference to me. I notices it happens with more IM programs using the MSN protocol. i'm having the same problem with kopete 0.12.2 under Debian Unstable. Also, with aMSN i have the problem. Connecting mostly doesn't work, and when I am connected, a lot of messages aren't send correctly, and I don't receive much too. GAIM doesn't seem to have the problem at the moment.
