The subject says it all - I am missing all my desktop icons and can no longer click on the desktop..or more accurately when I do NOTHING happens. I've been using GNOME for a while so "something" happened in between my vists to KDE. By the way I still can't decide between KDE and GNOME but this may make up my mind for me. Thanks to all
