The file /etc/conf.d/net doesn't exist on my distro =( Is there someone else that might know what I need to do?
Hey, I'm fresh from windows and have installed Mandrake Linux 10 on my laptop. It's all set up and now I want to get my PCMCIA ethernet card to work and start using internet (ADSL). As far as I know, I think my ISP uses DHCP if that would help. The computer I write this on, uses the same connection, but in winXP, and TCP/IP settings is set on "Automaticly recieve IP" How do I activate/install my ethernet card? How do I configure the connection to internet? I'm not so good with konsole commands, ...
